As we watch the nation continue to explode in protests/riots over the George Floyd killing by a police officer in Minneapolis and across the country, there is a narrative that goes well beyond the incident of George Floyd. The narrative says that there is a crisis of systematic racism that drives poverty. Hence, there is some implied justification for these protests/riots in a drive of some kind of perceived economic injustice. So the question that many ask: Does Poverty Cause crime? Let's put this theory to the test. In 2018 median Black household income (the level at which half of the households have higher incomes and half the lower) reached $41,511. For the same year across the U.S., it was $61,937.
Why do so many Americans, and especially Black Americans, think there's an epidemic of cops killing blacks? The answer is one word - Media. "White Cop Kills White Man" does not generate clicks or views. "Another Black Man Killed by White Cops" stirs controversy and gas lights emotions, racism sells, and maximizes advertisement revenue. "Black on Black crime epidemic" may be the truth, but that headline is not profitable. The media consistently engages in the omission of officer-involved shootings when the victim is white, blanketing their airwaves covering officer-involved shootings when the victim is black, but never distinguish between justified and unjustified shootings and always framing it as police brutality. The media complex is conscious of the manipulation, and its participants sleep well at night.
This just in for leftists and their non-thinking liberal allies: We need the police. For the past month, police have been blamed for every societal wrong, cited as the reason for every black man’s misdeed, and vilified for trying to apprehend some of the most dangerous and resistant criminals on the streets. They are only noticed when something goes wrong; otherwise, we take their services for granted. Those services, by the way, are compensated at a national average of just $67,000. But they show up every day ready to put their lives on the line for us. Below is a list of the top-10 highest-paying states for police officers: California average police officer salary: $105,220 Alaska average police officer salary: $87,870 New Jersey average police

Here somewhere in a sleepy town in picturesque France, a new nefarious activity is occurring as a result of the Coronavirus "pandemic." All of a sudden, restaurants and shops are coming up destroyed by fire. In the night from Saturday to Sunday (Right Wire Report reporter), a fire damaged three businesses located at the port in this sleepy town. Two restaurants in another part of the town were also affected. It was barely 11:00 pm this Saturday evening when the owner of the Chez Nous restaurant, was informed of the fire that hit his establishment. By the time he arrived, the fire had unfortunately ravaged his terrace, consumed the furniture that was still there, melted the blind, and cracked the windows.
Y Net News - Drug rings in the Tel Aviv area have been adapting to the new reality of Coronavirus guidelines with a cunning means of disguise and are wearing the uniforms of a food delivery service to continue to push their drugs. With Israel on increasingly stringent lockdown, staff for takeaway delivery services such as Wolt or Gett (see feature photo), are among the few who can move around freely without attracting too much police attention. As such, they are induced to hand over their uniforms to dealers seeking to enjoy the same freedom of movement. Some even decide to deliver drugs themselves. According to dealers, making deliveries has never been so smooth and problem-free. Perhaps somewhat amusing, what about crime
9Now Australia - An Australian woman was arrested for having a vial of pepper spray in her bag. Kelly Wong is a classical pianist, medical scientist, and a Justice of the Peace. But before today, she was facing up to 14 years in jail for carrying a tiny can of pepper spray in her bag for self-defense. Her ordeal began in the early hours of a December morning last year at a Sydney karaoke bar. Police made an impromptu visit to the establishment and searched partygoers' bags. Ms. Wong is from Western Australia, where pepper spray is classed as a controlled substance that can be used if you have a lawful excuse. But in every other state and territory, it is outright illegal
Seriously? Baltimore Mayor Bernard C. "Jack" Young says in the video to not park next to a white van and have your cell phone ready to call 911. Just how many white vans are there in Baltimore? I got to believe there are many. I just wonder how responsible warnings like this are. Just another example of how many of our major cities in America have quite dubious leadership. See here: .@mayorbcyoung says, “we’re getting reports of somebody in a white van trying to snatch up young girls for human trafficking and for selling body parts. Adding, “it’s all over Facebook” & “that’s something that our police officers are aware of because its been reported.” #WBAL pic.twitter.com/k1y1o96z7T — Vanessa Herring (@VanessaWBAL) December 3, 2019 Orginal
