3 Things to Watch in the Biden vs. Sanders Debate for Sunday, March 15, 2020

Sanders .Biden

Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders enter their first 1-on-1 debate this Sunday night under unprecedented circumstances. The debate, which was originally supposed to take place in Arizona in front of a live crowd, will now be held in CNN's Washington, DC, studios with no audience as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, that has also led both candidates to cancel rallies and stay off the campaign trail in recent days. The debate is just ahead of the critical March 17 primaries in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, and Ohio. There will be 577 Democratic delegates up for grabs. Biden leads (by significant amounts) Sanders in each of the state-wide polls. Biden leads Sanders by about 156 in the actual delegate counts. See from Real Clear Politics the current

The Difference Between Sanders and Biden – Spoiler Alert, NONE!

Sanders Biden The Same

Joe Biden's performance on Super Tuesday has now made him the apparent leader of the pack for the Democrats. The narrative has been from mainstream media that Sanders is the wacko crazy socialist, and Biden is the moderate center-left candidate. Right Wire Report wonders if this is, in fact, true. We took a look at some key policy issues to see just what the differences are. Here is a small sample. Issue: Healthcare as a "right" - Universal Coverage Sanders: Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) reintroduced his healthcare plan to transition the United States to a single-payer health care system, one where a single government-run plan provides insurance coverage to all Americans as a human right. This coverage would include illegal immigrants. Biden: Joe

Marx for the 21st Century Taught at Princeton, Democrats Want it Tuition-Free

Professor Marxist

How do politicians like Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, and pretty much the rest of the democrat party line-up manages to garner so much support when they foster policy positions that echo those of failed regimes throughout history? Well, one needs to look no further than the socialist incubators our universities have become to understand the dilemma. When Karl Marx Is the most assigned economist in U.S. colleges, and The Communist Manifesto is in the top three, it’s not surprising that a recent survey revealed 7 out of 10 millennials said they are somewhat or extremely likely to vote for a socialist candidate. It’s 3 P.M. on a Monday afternoon in the classroom of Daniel Hoffman-Schwartz, a professor at Princeton University,

Fear Grips the Democratic Party, post-Super Tuesday Analysis 2020

Super Tuesday Results

The 2020 Super Tuesday vote has been taken. The final result may not be known for a while (days) pending mail-in ballots and final counting. It is now time to take stock of where we sit today in terms of the political landscape for the presidential election in November. Joe Biden did better than expected, winning 8 to 10 states (depending on final counts), though this does not tell the whole story in terms of delegate counts. Here is the current tally (which will change in time) of delegates from Real Clear Politics (note that California and Texas have yet to fully report - so don't let the delegate counts fool you.): Key post-Super Tuesday results takeaways: Joe Biden benefited heavily from the

The Great Culling, pre-Super Tuesday Analysis 2020

Super Tuesday 2020

The media is telling us that Biden is surging in the Democratic primaries? Really? The ginned-up media hype of Biden surging is just that - media hype. So what is the insider game being played here?  Much of the media hype for Biden is coming off his recent primary win in South Carolina. Looking at the results, they were pretty much in line with the polling - no surge. Biden only received 18 more delegates than Sanders. South Carolina is not a large metropolitan region and tends to be less Progressive than in other areas. So it was known Biden would do reasonably well. Super Tuesday, March 3, 2020, is upon us, and it is set to be slugfest about the juggernaut

Biden or Sanders, Who is the Easiest for Trump to Beat in 2020?

Biden Sanders

President Donald Trump suggested to his supporters in South Carolina cast their primary ballots for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders during his rally Friday, the second straight Democratic primary in which he's suggested his supporters get involved. Trump suggested this with the following comments: "By the way, the Republicans allowed to vote in the -- are you ready?"  "Are you ready? Let's do it together," Trump said, going on to say that he "this is OK from a campaign finance standpoint." "First we have to figure out who would be the 'weakest candidate,' and then if it's legal -- if it's permissible by law." The Palmetto State has been the focus of "Operation Chaos": an attempt by some conservatives in the state to disrupt the Democratic primary

Sanders Campaign Goon with Long Rap Sheet, Threatens Violence if Bernie NOT Elected

Kyle Jurek

The Gateway Pundit - Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe taunted Democrats on Sunday and revealed he will be releasing the "first bombshell tape" of the 2020 election this week. An explosive new video from Project Veritas features disturbing comments from Kyle Jurek, a Sanders campaign staffer working out of the Iowa office who is calling for cities to “burn” if President Donald Trump is reelected. The leftist campaign field organizer, who has reportedly been paid about $10,000 since he began his role with the Sanders campaign, declared that "fascists" supporting Trump and those opposed to the socialist cause "deserve a violent reaction." "So if Trump gets re-elected, what—" an undercover journalist for Project Veritas Action Fund asked Jurek, in one of the

Can we tax the rich to prosperity?

Tax The Rich

Us News and World Report - the United States is often presented by the left as a horrible shift away from the high levels of tax progressivity that characterized the tax system in the mid-20th century. This conventional account points to top marginal tax rates that were over 90% for the wealthiest Americans in the 1950s and remained at 70% until the sweeping tax reforms of the Reagan era, and more recently under the Trump Administration. Many on the left say we should get back to these 90% rates as before. Let's take a deep dive into this question and find the reality of the taw situation in the US. Statutory tax rates can be misleading for two reasons. First, they do

First Pilgrims tried SOCIALISM, it FAILED – your lesson to learn this Thanksgiving Day

Gun Enthusiast Speaks - Bernie Sanders is a proclaimed Socialist, and he campaigned on the idea of bringing more socialist ideas to the government if he were elected President. Bernie criticized Elizabeth Warren as a capitalist, but the reality is they are two peas in a pod - socialists. Bernie thinks that socialism is a new great idea and right for America today. But Bernie's new socialist ideas are actually old - very old. Socialism has been tried here in America. It was actually before the United States existed when the Pilgrims landed here in the New World in the early 1600s under the governance of William Bradford. You see, the Pilgrims could not afford the trip to the new land,

Elizabeth Warren slipping, forecasting the Democratic primaries – November 2019

Democrats November 2019

Elizabeth Warren came under sustained attack from her Democratic rivals during the October 2019 presidential debate in Westerville, Ohio. For the most part, little movement in political fortunes has occurred since these debates and since our last forecast. RFS1 forecasts the Democratic contenders, giving a few interesting details. Most of the political dialogue for the 2020 U.S. presidential election is now about the Trump non-impeachment impeachment. There is not much room for any other real discussion on issues and debate amongst the Democratic hopefuls. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's response to pressure from the far-left base of her party has issued a warning to the Democrats running for president: far-left proposals like Medicare for All and wealth taxes won't help
