Arizona Governor Doug Ducey Throws Trump Under the Bus

Doug Ducey

Republican Arizona Governor Doug Ducey‘s phone started ringing while certifying the state’s 2020 presidential election results. Ducey’s very unique ringtone appears to have identified the caller as Donald Trump. Ducey said back in July that he had set his ringtone for calls from the White House to “Hail to the Chief” so that he never misses a call from President Trump or Vice President Mike Pence.

On the same day that Arizona certified former Vice President Joe Biden as the winner of the state’s 11 electoral votes, state lawmakers held a fact-finding hearing on allegations of voter fraud that might have tilted the closely contested state – see here key takeaways. See below the full 10-hour video of the hearing. Though a long grueling hearing, the outrageous depictions of voting irregularity and fraud are shocking.

Perhaps what is even more shocking is the behavior of the Republican party, emblematic in Governor Doug Ducey’s actions. Ducey is not alone. This election fight has exposed many wobbly-kneed Republicans. As patriots across America fight for voter integrity and our very Republic, where is the Republican party? Does Governor Ducey think his behavior will endear him to conservatives in future elections?

Elephants have good memories.

I feel we have been duped – I feel the fraudsters won.
All we had to do was mount a challenge to the voting processes and counts to determine if it was stolen from Trump.
What has become of the investigation?
Will nobody in the Arizonan legislature fight?
This is capitulation and has the odor of cowardice.
