Attacking our 2nd Amendment Rights, the real reason Bloomberg is running (video)?

The diminutive 77-year-old former New York City Mayor, Mike Bloomberg, sauntered to the microphone on Thursday to tell the country why he is running for president and to unveil the cornerstone of his 2020 campaign platform.

Bloomberg chose Aurora, Colorado, to deliver his first policy speech in front of a banner stating END GUN VIOLENCE, and flanked by a father who lost his son in the Colorado Movie theater massacre.”I’ve been all-in on the fight against gun violence for 15 years, and I’m just getting started,” Bloomberg declared. “As president, I will work to end the gun violence epidemic once and for all.

Passionately laying out the most extreme broad in scope gun control initiatives of any presidential candidate in the race, Bloomberg said, “It’s time to say enough is enough. We’re just not going to put up with it anymore.” Bloomberg told the viewing audience that both Trump and the NRA accept the violence and pain of Americans victimized by guns. He listed sweeping changes he would sign into law that would dramatically impact American’s current Second Amendment rights. Bloomberg ended his announcement by saying,” I promise you I will never back down from this fight,” he said. “That’s the kind of president this country needs and you deserve.” Roll the tape:

Before breaking down the key elements of his plan, it is important to put Bloomberg and Gun control into context. Gun violence prevention has been at the core of Mike Bloomberg’s agenda for fifteen years. As Mayor, he was a founder of Mayors Against Illegal Guns. As a private citizen, he was instrumental in linking MAIG with Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America to effectively lobby state legislatures to produce gun control measures. After these organizations teamed up sharing funding and resources, Bloomberg founded and funded a national political and lobbying organization called Everytown for Gun Safety. His new organization has been busy backing like-minded candidates across the country funneling tens of millions of dollars from his personal fortune to gain support for new gun control legislation in State Houses.

Everytown outspent the NRA in Virginia races to the tune of 2.5 million. According to the Center for Responsive Politics, Bloomberg spent close to $100 million to help elect Democrats to Congress in 2018 and 2019 elections. His campaign has just purchased tens of millions of reserved TV advertising in all 50 states, following previously spending forty million in Ad buys the first week of his campaign launch. Consider that Bloomberg’s company controls over 325,000 news terminals around the globe and Bloomberg News recently announced their reporters were barred from any investigative measures on Candidate Bloomberg. Sighting a “glitch” when the Financial Times reported: “Bloomberg temporarily had a tiny but extremely questionable advantage in the 2020 presidential race: if you typed “Mike” into one of his company’s roughly 325,000 news terminals around the globe, you were redirected to his campaign site.

Bloomberg is reportedly worth near 50 billion dollars and between his own six million member lobbyist arm, Everytown, and his media platforms will definitely utilize his “running” to influence the Democrat candidate pool and down-ticket candidate’s viability as well. Mike Bloomberg is running for president but skipping primaries until Super Tuesday. He has purchased the digital and on air time to influence his competitor’s longevity and can push many out of the race as he skips down the path to Super Tuesday. He emphatically said in his Colorado speech no matter if he wins or loses the race his agenda on Gun control is his imperative. He may even buy his way straight into a Brokered DNC Convention, where his megaphone will facilitate his gun control agenda.

So what is his agenda?

  • Reinstate the federal ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.
  • Institute a new age limit of 21 for those wishing to buy handguns, semi-automatic rifles, and shotguns.
  • Require a mandatory 48-hour waiting period for all gun purchases.
  • Require every gun buyer to obtain a permit before making a purchase.
  • Require point-of-sale background checks on all gun purchases while closing the gun show loophole.
  • Institute a temporary ban on gun possession for those convicted of assault or other violent misdemeanors.
  • Reverse the law that gives gun makers and gun dealers immunity from lawsuits.
  • Institute a federal “red flag” law to deny permits to “troubled people who pose a danger to themselves or others.”
  • Ban all guns in K-12 schools, colleges, and universities, except for law enforcement.
  • Create the position of White House gun coordinator “to mobilize the public to fight gun violence and launch an inter-agency hub to fight gun violence.”
  • Declare Gun Violence as a National Emergency.

Of course, none of these policies have been proven to do little to stop gun violence (Gun Confiscation Didn’t Work). It is an end around the Consitution to eliminated the American 2nd Amendment Rights. Bloomberg, an elite big government promoter, has the ultimate goal to disarm the public to ensure their big government control can be achieved.

Let the Democrats who want to ban guns or make it stricter than it all ready is go into the city of Chicago or any other major city with high gun violence and remove the guns from gangs who buy their guns illegally from the back alleys and street corners NOT gun stores or gun shows first. Then talk about your plan,
